The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stalin tries to clinch but Kuronoa moves out of range.
Kuronoa jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Stalin tries to clinch but Kuronoa is having none of it.

Stalin has Kuronoa up against the ropes in a clinch.
Stalin tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Kuronoa's elbow.
Stalin fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Stalin lands with a left to the head.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Kuronoa.

Kuronoa gets control of Stalin's arms and successfully pulls guard. Kuronoa will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
Stalin postures up.
Stalin wants to stand but Kuronoa is controlling his posture from full guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Kuronoa is looking for a triangle but Stalin pushes his legs off easily.

Stalin got a little sloppy there for a moment and Kuronoa has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Stalin has managed to get both his arms back between Kuronoa's legs - danger averted.

Kuronoa is looking to cinch up a triangle. Stalin throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Kuronoa's body to avoid the submission. Kuronoa has instead reached around Stalin's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Kuronoa arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
