Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ernesto Pilapil (ranked 4594 p4p, 0 weight class) and Takeshi Kimura (ranked 2915 p4p, 0 weight class). Pilapil's entrance music is I love the Diaz Brothers. A fine choice. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pilapil keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.

It looks like Takeshi Kimura has been cut.
Pilapil connects with a solid leg kick.
Pilapil takes a swing at Kimura's ribcage but misses.

Some bone on bone action there as Kimura checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Kimura avoids the head kick by Pilapil.

and Kimura counters with a shoot takedown. Pilapil fights it but they end up in guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Kimura slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Pilapil on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Pilapil tries to get out of the position.
Pilapil knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Kimura on the ground.
Kimura advances to half guard.
Pilapil is trying to maintain the position but Kimura is very close to passing his half guard.
Kimura wants to stand but Pilapil has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now.

Pilapil is looking for a sweep. Kimura is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Pilapil could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Kimura tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Pilapil.
Pilapil is trying to stand up here but Kimura is controlling him well.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Pilapil wants to control but Kimura is having none of it.
Pilapil tries to strike from the bottom but he's left himself exposed and Kimura has taken his back.

Kimura sinks in the hooks and is looking for the choke. He's got it! Pilapil taps out!
