Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Oenomaus Doctore (ranked 1978 p4p, 213 weight class) and Nando Vasquez (ranked 1864 p4p, 199 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Doctore might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Metallica - . Oenomaus Doctore could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Nando Vasquez's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Doctore wants to clinch up but Vasquez keeps it at a distance.
Oenomaus Doctore seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Doctore blocks a body shot from Vasquez.

Doctore breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Doctore tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.

Vasquez has closed the distance and engaged Doctore in a clinch.
Doctore tries to pull guard but Vasquez holds him up against the cage and eventually Doctore drops back down to his feet.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Vasquez creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Vasquez goes for a small jab and connects. Now Vasquez goes in closer pressing the issue. Left hook, right straight! Doctore stumbles back but Vasquez runs in with a huge uppercut knocking Doctore to the ground! What a finish! You have to wonder if Doctore will ever be the same after a knockout like that.
