Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Chadwick Lynch (ranked 24819 p4p, 0 weight class) and Aimo Kankkunen (ranked 23983 p4p, 0 weight class). Aimo Kankkunen looks lathargic as he enters the arena. Wake up son, you're about to have a fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Chadwick Lynch!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Aimo Kankkunen!
The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Johanna Lukiainen and Anni Minnemäki.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kankkunen shoots in but Lynch avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Lynch throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Kankkunen tries to counter by closing the distance.

so Lynch counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.

Lynch drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Lynch jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Lynch lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Lynch stalks Kankkunen and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Kankkunen's face. Kankkunen staggers backwards, shaken.
Lynch throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Lynch pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Kankkunen tries to clinch up but Lynch circles away and keeps his distance.
Kankkunen takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Kankkunen tries to clinch up but Lynch circles away and keeps his distance.

Lynch half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.
Lynch throws a nice looking combination but Kankkunen bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

As Lynch backs off Kankkunen throws a huge counter combo but Lynch manages to avoid it all.

Lynch seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Kankkunen for as long as he can get away with.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
