Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are David Hoff, Bart Greer and Santiago Holmes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Gay feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Jones is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Gay with a nice head shot there.
Jones has momentary wrist control but Gay slips an elbow through the middle.
Gay working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound.
Gay stands up over Jones, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

Jones had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Gay defends it easily.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Gay is working Jones over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

Gay has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Gay is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Gay is in close to Jones's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Gay could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Gay arches his back and unloads with a massive left and a right! Jones's eyes roll back into his head, he's out cold! The ref dives in to stop the fight - wow, they were hard shots!
