Pants has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Square Pants could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Ben Tambling's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tambling walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Pants misses with a wild body shot.
Tambling is looking for the big counter here.

Pants darts in and clinches Tambling up against the cage.
Pants tries a body shot but Tambling blocks it.
Tambling tries to circle away but Pants has him pinned against the cage.
Tambling can't break the clinch.
Tambling tries to break free but Pants pushes him back against the cage.
Tambling is looking to break free of the clinch but Pants has double underhooks.
Pants goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Pants lands a shoulder strike.
Tambling throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Pants blocks it with crossed arms.
Pants lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Tambling wants to break free but Pants has control.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Pants softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage.
Pants scores with a hook to the body.
Pants gets through Tambling's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Pants lands an uppercut.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Tambling is trying to break the clinch but Pants has him pressed against the cage.
Pants dips a shoulder and cracks Tambling with a mighty uppercut! Tambling falls back against the cage and Pants unloads with a barrage of strikes! Tambling is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Pants screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!
