The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Mne shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Mne has eaten all the pies!
Mne tries to stand and escape but Maynard is controlling the position.
Mne working over Maynard with some ground and pound. Maynard looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
Maynard throws a strike from the bottom that misses.

Mne tries to close the distance and clinch but Maynard swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Maynard knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Mne on the ground.

Maynard gets caught flat footed, as Mne shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

The fighters are working up against the cage. Maynard manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage.

Mne has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Maynard is trying to keep an underhook but Mne manages to get the takedown into half guard.
Maynard is trying to escape back to his feet but Mne uses the scramble to pass into side control.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
