Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Ludvick Wienshtein (ranked 24580 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fathy Ahmad (ranked 24771 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Ludvick Wienshtein!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 6 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Fathy Ahmad!
The judges for this bout are Bart Greer, David Hoff and Dirk Anderson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ahmad will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Ahmad throws a series of punches but Wienshtein moves out of range.

and Wienshtein counters by clinching up.

Wienshtein manages to break the clinch.
Ahmad tries to clinch there but Wienshtein circles away.
Wienshtein is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Ahmad.

Wienshtein feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Ahmad is working an open guard so Wienshtein takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Wienshtein shoots and misses
and Ahmad counters with a left and a right that stings Wienshtein.
Wienshtein throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Ahmad's waist but Ahmad gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Wienshtein off to one side.
Ahmad uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Wienshtein has time to react.

Ahmad goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

Wienshtein darts in looking for a takedown but Ahmad gets double underhooks and turns Wienshtein into the cage.

Wienshtein tries to score a power double leg takedown but Ahmad sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Wienshtein somewhat.

The fight stays on the outside here - Ahmad looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Ahmad should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

As Ahmad tries to get set, Wienshtein tries to push him back and clinch up but Ahmad manages to avoid the attempt.
Wienshtein tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Ahmad defends well and Wienshtein ends up having to push Ahmad into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Ahmad shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Wienshtein eats them both and turns towards Ahmad to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

Ahmad tries to clinch up but Wienshtein circles away and keeps his distance.

Ahmad let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land.

Ahmad tries to kick Wienshtein off in order to stand up. Wienshtein Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

I would just about give that final round to Fathy Ahmad.
I think Ahmad has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
