The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Impaler throws a hook to the side of Gomu's head but Gomu sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Gomu on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Gomu misses the shot to the body.
Impaler swings for the body but Gomu moves out of range.
Gomu lifts his leg as if looking to counter with a high kick.
Impaler with a body punch. A glancing blow.
Impaler swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Gomu is looking to counter punch.
Impaler digs a good hook to Gomu's body.
Impaler throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Impaler throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Gomu's head.

It looks like Gomu Gomu has been cut.
Impaler takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

Gomu throws a hook but Impaler blocks it.
Gomu misses with an uppercut.
A little jabbing left from Impaler on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.

Impaler throws a body punch but Gomu moves out of range.
Impaler fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Gomu manages to avoid it.
It looked like Gomu was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Impaler.
Gomu pushing out the jab but it's not landing.

Impaler throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Gomu counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Impaler throws a low kick but it's checked well by Gomu.

and Gomu counters with a nice right hand that sends Impaler toppling to the canvas! Impaler scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Gomu finish him?!

Impaler seems to have recovered his senses.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

and Gomu counters with a powerful cross that connects right on the chin and the lights go out! A massive one punch knock out!
