Smith has chosen Song 2 as his entrance music. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pony uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Smith.
Smith tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Pony was well out of range. Poor timing from Smith.
As Smith backs away, Pony returns fire with a leg kick that just misses.
Smith looks to land a left hand but Pony moved out of range nicely.
Pony throws a big counter combination but Smith scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
Smith pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Pony avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
John Smith seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Smith tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Pony was well out of range. Poor timing from Smith.

It looked like Pony was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
Pony gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Smith.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Smith.

and Pony counters with a nice low kick that buckles Smith's knee momentarily.

and Pony counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Smith thinking.

and Pony counters with a nice right hand that sends Smith toppling to the canvas! Smith scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Pony finish him?!

Pony appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body.

As Smith tries to get set, Pony tries to push him back and clinch up but Smith manages to avoid the attempt.
