Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Patrick Chaelsson (ranked 255 p4p, 9 weight class) and Fausto Carsara (ranked 459 p4p, 9 weight class). Carsara is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: E'sord Luché. On his way into the cage it seems that Patrick Chaelsson has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Patrick Chaelsson seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Carsara wants to get back to his feet but Chaelsson passes into half guard.

Chaelsson slips a nice elbow through Carsara's hands, connecting with Carsara's forehead.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Carsara is trying to stand up here but Chaelsson is controlling him well.

It looks like Fausto Carsara has been cut.
Chaelsson loads up with a big shot that hurts Carsara! He's pulled Chaelsson in close but Chaelsson has postured up and lands more strikes. Can Carsara survive? More strikes from Chaelsson and Carsara is out! The ref jumps in to save him! Brutal ground and pound!

A determined Patrick Chaelsson didn't want to dwell on this fight in his post fight interview. Instead he was more keen to state he wants a title shot. Let's see if he gets it!
