The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Danis moves out of range of the strikes.
Dillion Danis seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Danis misses the shot to the body.
Hype rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Danis moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Good work by Hype as he checks the leg kick.
Danis misses with a body kick.
Hype thows a left - swing and a miss!
Danis throws a half hearted mid kick.
Hype throws a body punch but Danis moves out of range.
As Hype tries to get set, Danis tries to push him back and clinch up but Hype manages to avoid the attempt.
Hype throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Danis sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Danis wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch.
Danis walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Danis tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Hype was well out of range. Poor timing from Danis.
Danis moves into the clinch.
Danis has picked Hype up - he's going for a ride! Danis dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.
Hype is not content to let Danis control the position.

Hype wants to improve his position but Danis is controlling well.
Danis is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Hype is trying to control but Danis passes into side control!
You can see the frustration on Hype's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Danis looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.

A lull in the action here as Danis stalls from top position.
Danis is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Hype knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Danis working for a guillotine from mount but Hype is in no mood to give up.
Danis has hold of Hype's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Hype manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Hype is wriggling around trying to escape.
Danis takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Danis is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Hype has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Hype!
Hype trying to control the position from guard on top but Danis is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Danis gets full guard.
Danis seems to have improved his submission grappling technique since last time we saw him. Let's see if he can pull off a submission.
Danis looking to control.
Hype stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Danis swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Danis is looking to cinch up a triangle. Hype throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Danis's body to avoid the submission. Danis has instead reached around Hype's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Danis arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Dillion Danis!
As Dillion Danis got his breath back, he grabbed the microphone and managed to blurt out the following: They all will fall!!'.
