Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Sergei Martynov (ranked 76 p4p, 5 weight class) and Latrobe Arundel (ranked 153 p4p, 21 weight class). Arundel has chosen Shook Ones as his entrance music. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Martynov throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Arundel swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.

Arundel cracks Martynov with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Martynov doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Martynov throws a looping overhand right but Arundel ducks down to avoid it.
Martynov throws a hook to the side of Arundel's head but Arundel sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Martynov lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Martynov has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Arundel finds it's way round the side to connect with Martynov's head.

Both these guys seem content to just stand up and trade with eachother but Arundel might want to think about changing up his gameplan a bit because over the course of the fight, Martynov has got the better of the exchanges.

Oh Martynov is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

and Arundel scores with a counter punch that sends Martynov to the canvas! Arundel smells blood - he's punishing Martynov with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Martynov has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!
