Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gauthier Delsarte (ranked 134 p4p, 21 weight class) and Tong Po (ranked 250 p4p, 34 weight class). Delsarte kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Ah Non Cest Terrible. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Taro Takaoka and Hirohito Nitta.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Po tries a head kick but it misses.
Nice cross by Delsarte.

and Po counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Po connects with a nice looking jab.
It looks like Gauthier Delsarte has been cut.
Po throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Delsarte sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Delsarte throws the kick towards the body but Po avoids it.
Po looks like he wants to counter punch here.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
The fighters circling - Po throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Po ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
It seemed like Po was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
A head kick misses from Po.
A quick step to the side and Delsarte tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Delsarte works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
A punch combination from Delsarte misses.
A nice side step and Po releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.
Po moves forwards but Delsarte connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Delsarte fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Po manages to avoid it.
Delsarte has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Fist of Fury Training Center in the buildup to the fight.
Delsarte really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Delsarte misses with a hook.
Po swings for the body but Delsarte moves out of range.
Delsarte pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Delsarte misses with an uppercut.
Po appeared to try and counter that last move with a leg kick.
Po moves out of range of the strikes.

Delsarte moves away from the strike by Po.
Po swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Delsarte connects with a nice looking jab.
Po dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Delsarte. That did some damage!
Po moves forwards but Delsarte connects with a nice, crisp jab.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Po steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Delsarte. That one must have hurt.
Po throws a lazy right hand but Delsarte sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

It looks like Tong Po has been cut.

Delsarte scores with a spinning back kick!
Delsarte circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Po to the canvas! Po doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Delsarte keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:17 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Gauthier Delsarte!
