Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Mark Boma (ranked 2092 p4p, 223 weight class) and Ameri Can (ranked 1997 p4p, 212 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Can's choice of entrance music: For Heavy Metal we will die!. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Robert Twigg and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boma throws a jab but it's blocked by Can.
Boma fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Can manages to avoid it.
Can tries to move into range but Boma moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Boma steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Can. That one must have hurt.
Boma missing with a left hand there. Can was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Can scores with a jab. Boma acknowledges it with a nod of the head.

Boma feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Cans jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

That was a close round but I would say that Mark Boma will probably get the nod.
