Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Ameri Can (ranked 2603 p4p, 254 weight class) and Burke Heimer (ranked 1895 p4p, 203 weight class). Can comes to the cage accompanied by For Heavy Metal we will die!. This should be fireworks!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Heimer misses with a straight left.
Heimer looks to land a right hand but Can moved out of range.
Heimer fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Can has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Can throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Can wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Heimer takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Can uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Heimer .
Can scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Can bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Heimer throws out a loose jab but Can uses good head movement to avoid it.

Can does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

Heimer fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Can sprawls well initially but Heimer persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

That was a close round but I would say that Ameri Can will probably get the nod.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Ameri Can.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Can, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
