Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Valen Dreth (ranked 864 p4p, 101 weight class) and Kale Lespin (ranked 3182 p4p, 298 weight class). Dreth comes to the cage accompanied by Night Witches - Sabaton. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fight stays on the outside here - Dreth looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Dreth punishes Lespin's body with a nice straight punch.
Lespin misses with an uppercut.
A big left from Lespin misses.
A solid leg kick lands there for Dreth.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Dreth gets caught napping as Lespin dives in and scores a takedown. Dreth manages to retain guard.
Dreth has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
Dreth wants to sweep here but Lespin controlling him for the moment.
Lespin must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Dreth is looking for a triangle but Lespin pushes his legs off easily.
Lespin throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Dreth works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

Dreth has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Lespin doesn't defend quickly enough and Dreth has managed to lock this one up! Can Lespin escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Dreth on a fantastic submission victory.
