Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Keto Belle (ranked 15950 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lazuran Riku (ranked 2658 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Belle might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Going Down . Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

27 - 11 - 2, fighting out of New York, Lazuran Riku!
The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Paulsen Ambrosius and Saam Ante.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Belle throws a series of punches but Riku avoids them all with ease.
Belle tries to clinch
and Belle takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Belle keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Belle appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body.
Belle darts in looking for a takedown but Riku gets double underhooks and turns Belle into the cage.
Belle throws a body punch but Riku moves out of range.
Keto Belle seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Riku lands a nice shot to the body.

Belle darts in looking for a takedown but Riku gets double underhooks and turns Belle into the cage.
Riku flicks out a counter leg kick but Belle steps away.
Riku bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Belle's head.
It looks like Keto Belle has been cut.

and Riku counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Belle moves in looking to clinch but Riku pushes him off.

Belle throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Riku tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Belle is in Riku's guard.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Belle would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Belle with a flurry of punches that miss.
Riku has his feet on Belle's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work.
Belle moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Horrible takedown attempt by Belle or perhaps it was just good defense by Riku, which made it look bad.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Keto Belle. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Riku avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Belle closes the distance and clinches.
Riku breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Riku misses with an uppercut.

Belle lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Riku jabs Belle to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Riku digs a good body shot into Belle's ribs.

and Riku connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Belle wants to clinch up but Riku keeps it at a distance.
Riku throws out a counter right but Belle avoids it with no problem.
Belle paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Belle rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Riku counters with an inside leg kick.
Belle has his takedown stuffed
enabling Riku to counter with a crisp jab.
Jab, jab by Riku - just one landing.
Belle wants to clinch but Riku slips to the side
and Riku counters with a nice leg kick.
Riku displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Belle throws out the jab.

Belle is breathing heavily.

Belle stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Riku.
Riku feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Belle sprawling to the canvas! Belle rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Riku finish him?!
Belle is rocked!
Riku lands an uppercut, right on the button! Belle tumbles backwards into the cage, staring vacantly into space! He's got no idea where he is, who he is or what day it is... Poor guy.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:15 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Lazuran Riku!
Lazuran Riku decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
Keto Belle was interviewed post fight and said 'Well today I'm not happy, you know I made a lot of mistakes and underestimated Superior. But you know this sport of MMA is all about the best fighter in the ring at that moment. I know I was the better fighter but I got careless and the result is a loss. Thank you fans for coming out... *leaves ring'.
