Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between KarateO Masuta (ranked 3915 p4p, 416 weight class) and Marc Read (ranked 6683 p4p, 526 weight class). Masuta comes into the arena with We Can Dance blaring out of the sound system. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Both fighters are only really looking to counter, so after a good 30 seconds of circling eachother endlessly, the referee has stepped in and told them both to be more aggressive.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Masuta crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Read - the referee stops the clock and Masuta gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Read. Masuta manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Well Read has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
