Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Anthony Castillo (ranked 4390 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ze Jiurgite (ranked 6788 p4p, 0 weight class). Castillo's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Mafia Rap!. Jiurgite comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Bezerra - O Malandro Era Forte kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jiurgite has closed the distance and engaged Castillo in a clinch.

Castillo breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Jiurgite tries to close the distance and clinch but Castillo swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Jiurgite drives through and clinches with Castillo against the cage.
Castillo has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Jiurgite regains guard immediately.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Castillo won't allow Jiurgite to get back to his feet.

Jiurgite is trying to hold Castillo in close to prevent damage but Castillo has managed to pass into half guard.
Jiurgite is looking for a sweep. Castillo is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Jiurgite is controlling Castillo's trapped leg to prevent Castillo from advancing to side control.
Jiurgite felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.

Jiurgite has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Castillo is working away from the top position though.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Castillo decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up.

Jiurgite tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Castillo manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Castillo throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Jiurgite wants to counter with a clinch but Castillo pushes him away.

Ze Jiurgite seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Castillo throws a left jab followed by a right to the body, Oh Jiurgite colapses and takes a barrage of punches from Castillo as he moves to mount! the ref stops the fight and Jiurgite is left battered and dazed whilst Castillo and his camp cheer!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:54 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Anthony Castillo!
After the fight, Anthony Castillo was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
Ze Jiurgite spoke after the fight, saying 'Don't do drugs, kids'.
