PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Thor Hammer (ranked 766 p4p, 114 weight class) and Mark Steve (ranked 926 p4p, 138 weight class). Steve has chosen Its a fine day to whoop somebodies ass as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 16 - 10 - 0, fighting out of London, Thor Hammer!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 21 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mark Steve!
The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, Andrew Berry and Colin Fotheringham.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hammer lands a front kick.
A punch lands to the side of Hammer 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Steve ducks under a wild hook from Hammer.
Steve feints and then cracks Hammer's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Hammer down.
Hammer tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Hammer tries to move into range but Steve moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Steve moves out of range of the body kick from Hammer.
Steve with a jab.
Hammer swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Hammer lands with a kick to the temple. Steve shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Hammer slips under a jab.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Steve fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Hammer.
Hammer swings widly with a right hand
and Steve makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Hammer looks for the body kick but Steve saw that one coming.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Steve bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
A little jabbing left from Steve on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Hammer pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Steve looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Steve takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Hammer misses with a wild combination.
Steve throws out a counter right but Hammer avoids it with no problem.
Steve misses the shot to the body.
It looked like Hammer was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Steve.
Hammer ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Steve moves away.
Steve moves out of range of the body kick.
Hammer throws a push kick but Steve slaps the foot to one side.
Steve tries to clinch up.
Steve blocks the body kick.
Hammer takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Hammer slips a jab from Steve.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Hammer misses with a double jab
and Steve makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Hammer misses with a hook.
Hammer scores with a head kick. Steve tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Hammer throws a body kick despite being completely out of range
and Steve counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Hammer looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Steve lands with a straight right. Hammer didn't see that one coming.

Hammer is rocked!
Steve lunges in with a left hook that violently twists Hammer head around and knocks him out cold! Steve hops onto the cage and yells out at the top of his lungs - Yeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaah! They're showing the replay on the big screens now; that was nasty! I hope one of the photographers got a good shot of it.
