Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Doom Crusher Jones (ranked 5190 p4p, 468 weight class) and Stephen Leroux (ranked 4892 p4p, 463 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Alan Glass and Stewart Dunkirk.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Leroux rushes Jones and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Leroux has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Jones is trying to keep an underhook but Leroux manages to get the takedown into half guard.
Jones pushes Leroux off looking to stand but Leroux dives back in and keeps control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Jones is looking to get back to is feet but Leroux passes into side control.
Jones wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!

Jones tries to improve position but can't.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Jones is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.

Leroux decides to stand up, so the ref orders Jones to his feet.

Leroux takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
A solid body kick from Jones.
Jones throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Leroux wants to counter the offense by Jones and move into the clinch position.
Doom Crusher Jones is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Leroux moves into range and clinches up with Jones.
Jones prevents a body shot from Leroux .
Leroux is trying to break the clinch but Jones has him pressed against the cage.
Jones wants to break free but Leroux has control.

Leroux pulls guard successfully.
Jones trying to control but Leroux is working from the bottom.
Jones really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Leroux working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Jones doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Leroux is tightening it up a little... Jones has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Jones reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Jones taps out! Nice BJJ there by Leroux !
