Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Luke Trendall (ranked 22152 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cruz Dominiguez (ranked 3161 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Luke Trendall has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Luke Trendall seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

5 - 6 - 0, fighting out of London, Luke Trendall!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
15 - 6 - 0, fighting out of New York, Cruz Dominiguez!
The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, James Ackerman and James Atkins.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Trendall throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Dominiguez shoots in and drives through. Trendall sprawls well.
Trendall fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Dominiguez forces Trendall back against the cage and clinches.
Dominiguez breaks from the clinch.
Trendall throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Dominiguez shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Dominiguez drives through and clinches with Trendall against the cage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Trendall tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Trendall looking to throw knees to the head but Dominiguez is blocking nicely.
Trendall is trying to break the clinch but Dominiguez is controlling him.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Dominiguez breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Dominiguez darts in and clinches Trendall up against the cage.
Trendall is looking to control Dominiguez's arms but Dominiguez gets an underhook and turns him. Now Trendall has his back to the cage.
Dominiguez breaks the clinch.
Dominiguez clinches with his opponent.
Dominiguez breaks the clinch.
Dominiguez throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
Dominiguez feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Dominiguez won't allow Trendall to sweep him here.
Trendall on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Trendall tries to get out of the position.
Trendall is wriggling around but Dominiguez manages to pass to half guard.
Dominiguez stands up and beckons Trendall to join him on the feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Trendall avoids the head kick by Dominiguez.
Dominiguez throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Trendall seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Trendall misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Dominiguez gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Dominiguez's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Trendall really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Dominiguez rushes Trendall and presses him up against the cage.
Dominiguez escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Dominiguez closes the distance and lands a crisp combination that knocks Trendall out cold! Trendall corner are devastated, head in hands behind our commentary position. Poor guys.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:46 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Cruz Dominiguez!
