PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Don Sheidu (ranked 991 p4p, 55 weight class) and Sami Steele (ranked 1681 p4p, 100 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Don Sheidu has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Don Sheidu seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Steele looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

Sheidu closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Steele's guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Sheidu does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Steele.

Steele goes for a high kick. It partially lands.

Sheidu tries to score a power double leg takedown but Steele sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Sheidu somewhat.
Steele has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

and Sheidu counters with a nice double leg into side control. Steele won't be happy with that.

Sheidu is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Steele looks calm but he's in trouble here. Sheidu gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Steele is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Sheidu lets go of the hold and Steele can pop his arm back in it's socket.
