Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Igor Silva (ranked 6152 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hank Cowboy (ranked 3546 p4p, 0 weight class). The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Igor Silva!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Hank Cowboy!
The judges for this bout are Sandra Marshall, David Hoff and Santiago Holmes.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cowboy throws an overhand right that lands on Silva's shoulder, as Silva tries to avoid the shot.
Silva is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Cowboy.

Silva shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Cowboy manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Cowboy wants to stand and escape but Silva is having none of it.
Silva forces his way into half guard.
Silva seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Cowboy does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Silva uses his free foot to push down on Cowboy's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Cowboy.
Silva tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Cowboy squirming around on the bottom, looking to escape.

You get the feeling that Cowboy really doesn't like being in this position too much.

Silva pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
Silva can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Cowboy is looking to escape.
Silva is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Cowboy is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Silva has control of Cowboy's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Cowboy regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Cowboy is trying to get to the cage to help him get back to his feet.

Cowboy is squirming around, avoiding Silva's attempts to control the action.

Silva is working for a guillotine from mount but Cowboy frees his head quite easily.
Cowboy's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.

Silva working for a submission but Cowboy is keeping him at bay.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Silva lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
Cowboy is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.
Silva pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
You get the feeling that Cowboy really doesn't like being in this position too much.

Silva lands a big elbow.
Cowboy really wants to buck Silva off and get back to his feet.
Silva punishing his opponent with strikes.
Cowboy is trying to stand up.
The referee warns Cowboy that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

Silva with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Silva walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
A slow jab from Cowboy misses its intended target.
Cowboy moves out of range of the body kick from Silva.
Silva uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Cowboy.
Silva shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Cowboy sprawls well. Cowboy wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Silva gets slowly back to his feet.
Cowboy drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Silva defends it well.
Silva misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Cowboy.
Cowboy misses with a hook.
Cowboy is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Silva.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Silva tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Cowboy manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Silva ducks under a wild hook from Cowboy.
Silva changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.
Hank Cowboy seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Donk. Cowboy catches Silva right on the button with a cross.
Cowboy connects with a nice looking jab.
Cowboy digs a good hook to Silva's body.

Cowboy misses with a straight left.
Cowboy is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Silva has Cowboy up against the cage in a clinch.

Cowboy breaks the clinch.
Cowboy throws a big shot that misses.
A jab lands there for Cowboy.
Silva defending well as Cowboy loads up on a big left hand.
Cowboy connects with a right hand. Silva shakes it off.

Silva is rocked!
Cowboy steps in with a hook that catches Silva right on the chin and knocks him to the floor! Cowboy follows him down with more strikes and that's all she wrote! Silva looks absolutely devastated.
