Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Isla Bonita!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Evgeni Kozlov!
The judges for this bout are Winston Alpacca, Daniel Franklin and Michael Johnstone.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bonita ducks under a wild hook from Kozlov.
Kozlov throws out a loose jab but Bonita uses good head movement to avoid it.
Kozlov clobbers Bonita with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Kozlov bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Bonita's head backwards.
Kozlov takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Kozlov lands a left and a right that send Bonita crashing to the mat, dazed. Kozlov thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Bonita is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Kozlov ducks down and throws a big overhand right - it lands flush on the jaw, knocking Bonita out cold! The fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:26 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Evgeni Kozlov!
