The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Harada throws a poor cross that misses
and Dante connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Harada ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Harada fails with an attempt to clinch.
Dante takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Dante throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Harada moves in looking to clinch but Dante pushes him off.
Akira Harada seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Dante moves out of range of the body kick from Harada.
Dante dodges the punch combination from Harada.
Harada has been working on his boxing with his coaches at 3Band MMA ($800/week) in the buildup to the fight.
Harada is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Dante throws a body shot but no joy.
Dante has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Harada drops Dante with a straight right hand, right on the button! Harada follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!
