And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Manolo Ribera!
The judges for this bout are William Peck, Yves DeLean and Dillan Fox.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ribera throws a hook but Jenkins blocks it.
Jenkins takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Jenkins bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

Ribera tries to sprawl but Jenkins drives through with a takedown into half guard.

The fight stays on the outside here - Ribera looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Jenkins swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Ribera throws a lazy right hand but Jenkins sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Ribera enables Jenkins to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Ribera manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Jenkins is standing up over Ribera. Ribera looks to escape but Jenkins dives into side control.

Ribera really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Jenkins. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Jenkins looks up at the clock and then as Ribera takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Jenkins smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
