The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Banner throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

A little jabbing left from Mullin on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Mullin is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Mullin lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

This entire fight has taken place on the feet so far and you wonder whether Banner might be better served trying to take this one to the ground because he's losing the standup battle so far.
Mullin lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Banner lifts his leg as if looking to counter with a high kick.
Banner walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.

and Banner counters with a crisp right hand that drops Mullin! Banner lets Mullin back up to his feet, looking for a finish!

Mullin is rocked!
Banner circles away before darting back in with a big straight right hand. It connects beautifully and sends Mullin tumbling to the canvas! He's out cold! Banner wins by KO!

A relieved looking Lamont Banner thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
