Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Mungo Jerry (ranked 2707 p4p, 317 weight class) and Hannu Karpo (ranked 1528 p4p, 201 weight class). Hannu Karpo has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
10 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mungo Jerry!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Hannu Karpo!
The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, Reed Andrews and Joseph Jones.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Karpo thows a left - swing and a miss!
Jerry throws a shot to the body.
Karpo connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Jerry misses with a straight left.
Jerry gets a clinch.
Karpo breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Karpo throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Karpo lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Jerry rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Karpo moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Karpo moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Jerry gets cracked there but stands up to it.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Jerry looking to score a takedown here. Karpo is defending well but Jerry drives through and ends up in Karpo's guard.
Karpo had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Jerry defends it easily.
Karpo looking for a sweep. Not yet Karpo, not yet.
Jerry seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Karpo working for a triangle but Jerry defends it easily.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Jerry got a little sloppy there for a moment and Karpo has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Jerry has managed to get both his arms back between Karpo's legs - danger averted.
Jerry trying to control the position from guard on top but Karpo is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Karpo looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Jerry is defending well. Karpo quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Jerry has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Karpo celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:45 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Hannu Karpo!
A less than humble Hannu Karpo misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
