Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Benjamin Kueller (ranked 1650 p4p, 186 weight class) and Segey Taranin (ranked 3377 p4p, 309 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, Bruno Lombardi and Eddie Farnsworth.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kueller fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Taranin has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Kueller shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Taranin as he jumps to the side.
Kueller moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Kueller thumps Taranin with a low kick.
Kueller misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Kueller on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Kueller cracks Taranin with an open hand slap.
Nice sprawl there from Kueller as Taranin shoots in.
A decent looking cross lands there for Taranin.
Kueller tries to bum rush Taranin with a series of wild strikes but Taranin uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
A little jabbing left from Taranin on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Kueller fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Kueller throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Taranin's waist but Taranin gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Kueller off to one side.
Taranin drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Kueller defends it well.

As Taranin looks to move away, Kueller throws a big counter combo but Taranin just gets out of the way.

Kueller throws a body shot but no joy.
Kueller connects with a body shot that sends Taranin's belly button to the back.

Kueller throws a low kick but Taranin moves out of range easily.

Taranin might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.

Taranin might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Kueller haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
Kueller wants to control for a moment but Taranin uses the opportunity to move back to half guard.
Taranin tries to regain full guard. Instead though, Kueller has advanced to mount. Uh oh.
Kueller will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Taranin is squirming around, avoiding Kueller's attempts to control the action.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Kueller throws a good cross that connects.
Taranin ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Kueller moves away.
Taranin takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.

Kueller fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Taranin.

Taranin fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Kueller manages to avoid it.

Taranin walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.

Taranin throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Kueller was covering up waiting for the punch and Taranin finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Kueller throws a left that rocks Taranin and follows with a right that sends him tumbling to the canvas! Kueller dives into side control, looking to finish! Can Taranin regain composure!

It looks like Segey Taranin has been cut.
A big shot lands for Kueller! That's hurt Taranin! Will he recover? Kueller fires away with more strikes and the referee has to step in to stop the fight!
