Johnson kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Eazy e- real mother fuckin gs. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Johnson throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Hasselhoff appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body.
A head kick misses from Johnson.
Jab, jab by Johnson - just one landing.
DeShawn Johnson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Johnson jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Hasselhoff with the counter takedown but Johnson avoids it easily.

and Johnson finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body.

Johnson lands a big head kick that sends Hasselhoff tumbling to the mat! Johnson takes a step backwards and waves Hasselhoff back to his feet - he wants the finish!

It looks like Hershel Hasselhoff has been cut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Johnson keeps Hasselhoff at a distance using the push kick.
Johnson takes a swing at Hasselhoff's ribcage but misses.
Hasselhoff shoots in but no luck this time.
As Hasselhoff looks to move away, Johnson throws a big counter combo but Hasselhoff just gets out of the way.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Hasselhoff shoots for a double leg takedown but Johnson sprawls well. He's pushed Hasselhoff's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
DeShawn Johnson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Hershel Hasselhoff.

Johnson drops Hasselhoff with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Hasselhoff looks back up at him and smiles so Johnson waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Johnson cracks Hasselhoff with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Hasselhoff looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Johnson finish him?

Johnson throws a body shot but no joy.

DeShawn Johnson is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Johnson uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Hasselhoff takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Both fighters circling a little - Johnson finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.

Johnson misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Johnson sets himself, and Hasselhoff steps forward looking for the clinch! Johnson avoids it this time.
Johnson throws a 1-2 combo that connects squarely on Hasselhoff's jaw, knocking him onto his back! Johnson dives in looking to finish as Hasselhoff flails his arms in a desperate attempt to block Johnson's strikes! Johnson is raining down hammerfists and the ref stops it! Hasselhoff's desperate flailing just didn't constitute intelligent defence. Some people will probably question the ref's decision but Hasselhoff was definitely hurt and the ref saved him from taking unnecessary punishment. A fighter's safety is paramount in this sport.
