Coming up we have a heavyweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Cajun Puto (ranked 22012 p4p, 476 weight class) and Thiago Araujo (ranked 1706 p4p, 190 weight class). On his way into the ring it seems that Cajun Puto has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Cajun Puto seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?
This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the heavyweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of Las Vegas, with a TWGC record of 14 wins and 10 losses; Cajun Puto! And in the blue corner, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, with a TWGC record of 1 wins and 3 losses; Thiago Araujo!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Jack Bonds and Don Winkell.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Araujo regains full guard. Nicely done.
Araujo working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Puto doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Puto manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Araujo not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Puto stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Araujo swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Araujo has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Puto can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
Puto not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Araujo is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Araujo throws his legs up looking for a submission but Puto uses it to pass to side control.

Araujo is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Puto's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.

Araujo tries to roll over but Puto keeps him under control.
Puto is pressing down on Araujo's thigh, looking to free his foot. Araujo is holding on for now.
Araujo is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Puto pulls his head out easily.

Araujo has hold of a guillotine but he's not going to be able to crank on it really with only half guard, so it's no trouble for Puto. Oh but Araujo has got full guard now! Oh boy! This one could be over very soon! Puto goes limp - he's gone! Araujo jumps up and celebrates with the crowd - fantastic submission finish!
