The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Morgan jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Assistant takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Assistant attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
Personal Assistant seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Morgan jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Morgan throws a shot from downtown. Assistant moves away and avoids it.
Morgan jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Assistant throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Morgan avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Assistant missing with a left hand there. Morgan was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Morgan tries a head kick but it misses.
Assistant wants to counter the offense by Morgan and move into the clinch position.

Assistant clinches up with Morgan and pushes him back against the cage.
A right hand to the body from Assistant.
Assistant misses with a punch on the inside.
Morgan lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
We've been hearing reports that Morgan has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.

Morgan works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Assistant looking to hit a scissor sweep but Morgan is one step ahead there.

Morgan drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Morgan jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Morgan stands and throws Assistant's legs to the side, diving into side control.

Morgan is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Assistant is trying to escape and Morgan transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Assistant is forced to tap! Nice work there by Morgan! Very nice indeed!
