The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bystrom lands a jab.
A head kick from Bystrom lands but Sixx takes it in his stride.
Horrible takedown attempt by Sixx or perhaps it was just good defense by Bystrom, which made it look bad.
Bystrom looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Sixx looks to land a right hand but Bystrom moved out of range.
Sixx swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Sixx throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Bystrom's waist but Bystrom gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Sixx off to one side.

Bystrom connects with a good right hand that stumbles Sixx. Sixx circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

It looks like Vinnie Sixx has been cut.
Bystrom bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Vinnie Sixx seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Sixx changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Bystrom tries to avoid it but Sixx manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Bystrom to the ground. Bystrom escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
