The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shepkin shoots and misses

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Machine bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Shepkin's head backwards.
Machine lands with a straight right. Shepkin didn't see that one coming.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Shepkin moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.

Shepkin looking to score a takedown here. Machine is defending well but Shepkin drives through and ends up in Machine's guard.
Shepkin is standing up over Machine. Machine looks to escape but Shepkin dives into side control.
Shepkin is staying tight to Machine's torso, preventing him from escaping.
Machine is trying to get back to his feet.
Machine seems a little lost for a moment, as Shepkin dominates the positioning.
Machine is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Shepkin can do to turn this around?

Shepkin has hold of Machine's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Machine tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Shepkin cranks the arm and Machine screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Machine, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
