The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Star Platinum takes the fight into the clinch.

Star Platinum has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Bunt uses from the top position.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Bunt avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Bunt trying to control the position from guard on top but Star Platinum is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Star Platinum is looking for a triangle but Bunt pushes his legs off easily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Bunt wants to control from the top but Star Platinum keeps moving.

Star Platinum will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Bunt is trying to pull guard but Star Platinum turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.

Bunt is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Star Platinum is defending well for now.
Star Platinum goes for a takedown attempt but Bunt pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

Star Platinum blocks a body shot from Bunt.
Bunt jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Star Platinum walks away with a smile on his face. Bunt gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Star Platinum drops Bunt with a beautiful combination! Bunt stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Star Platinum is looking for the KO!

Bunt is rocked!

It looks like Mark Bunt has been cut.
Star Platinum swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Star Platinum lands with a right and another and another! Bunt is in big trouble! Star Platinum lands again and this time it's lights out for Bunt! A quality knockout there for Star Platinum.
