Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Isaac Coyote (ranked 7239 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ben Penn (ranked 5087 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Isaac Coyote!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Ben Penn!
The judges for this bout are Santiago Holmes, Daniel Franklin and Bart Greer.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Penn closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Coyote looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Coyote is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Penn gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Penn is trying to push Coyote away but Coyote has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.

Penn has clasped his hands together around Coyote's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.
Coyote knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Penn on the ground.
Penn is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.

Penn decides to take the fight back to the feet.

Penn closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Penn is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Coyote's shoulder. That is not cool.
Penn should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Penn stands up and we're back to a striking position.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Penn closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Penn has hold of Coyote's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Coyote seems comfortable defending it but Penn has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Coyote is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Coyote is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Penn couldn't care less - he's delighted!
