Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Norman Pearson (ranked 650 p4p, 86 weight class) and Mon Ster (ranked 216 p4p, 34 weight class). Ster comes into a darkened arena with his song building. The Automatic - Monster kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 14 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Norman Pearson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 20 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mon Ster!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Yukihiro Shimada and Sosuke Kotani.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pearson misses with a hook. Ster ducked under it nicely.
Ster misses with a double jab.
Pearson takes one on the chin but seems OK.
A punch lands to the side of Ster 's head but he takes it in his stride.


It looks like Mon Ster has been cut.
Ster fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Ster throws the kick towards the body but Pearson avoids it.
Ster throws a sloppy head kick and Pearson moves out of range easily.
As Ster looks to move away, Pearson throws a big counter combo but Ster just gets out of the way.
Pearson misses with a two punch combination.

Pearson fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Ster, pushing him back against the cage.
Pearson blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Ster.
Ster effectively controlling the action here.

Pearson pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Ster cracks Pearson with an open hand slap.
Pearson throws a left and a right that both miss
and Ster counters with a right hand to the body.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
A punch combination from Ster misses.
Ster bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

Ster slips under a jab.
Pearson misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Ster.
Pearson avoids a punch combination nicely.

Ster cracks Pearson with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

Pearson lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Pearson.

That has opened up Mon Ster's cut even more.

Pearson lands with a hook. Ster tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.

Ster let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land.
Pearson tries to bum rush Ster with a series of wild strikes but Ster uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Ster finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Ster throws a hook but Pearson blocks it.
Ster misses with an uppercut. Pearson saw that one coming.
Ster scores with a nice right hand.

Ster takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.

Pearson fails in his attempt to clinch.
A decent looking cross lands there for Ster.

Ster stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Ster uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Pearson.

Pearson throws a shot from downtown. Ster moves away and avoids it.

Ster lands a nice looking body shot.
Ster avoids a lazy jab quite easily.

Ster throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Pearson walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.

and Pearson counters with a left and a right that stings Ster.


The cut above Mon Ster's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Ster throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Pearson sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Ster throws a big shot that misses.
Pearson lands a body shot.
Pearson takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
A punch lands to the side of Ster 's head but he takes it in his stride.
A slapping body kick lands there for Ster.

Pearson rushes Ster and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Pearson is trying to push Ster away but Ster has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.

Pearson escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Sloppy strikes from Pearson. Those never looked like landing.
Pearson drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Ster fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Pearson manages to avoid it.
Pearson finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Ster showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Pearson.
No joy there for Pearson, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Pearson's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!

Mon Ster's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

Ster swats away the attempt to clinch by Pearson.
Pearson tries to close the distance and clinch but Ster swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Ster throws out a loose jab but Pearson uses good head movement to avoid it.
Pearson tries to land a front kick but Ster steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Pearson lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Ster circles away quickly and effectively.
Ster throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Ster tried to score with a low kick but Pearson checks it.
Pearson feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Ster's calf.
Pearson moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Mon Ster's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:59 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Norman Pearson!
Norman Pearson decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
