Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Square Pants (ranked 2011 p4p, 0 weight class) and Wanderson Silva (ranked 5384 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Wanderson Silva enters the cage!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 9 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Wanderson Silva!
The judges for this bout are Santiago Holmes, Peter Branson and Bart Greer.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva tries for a takedown but Pants sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

and Pants counters with a lovely straight right hand!

It looks like Wanderson Silva has been cut.
Pants throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Silva on the side of the head.
Pants punishes Silva's body with a nice straight punch.
Pants misses with a straight left.
Silva shoots and misses
and Pants counters with a nice uppercut.
Square Pants has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Wanderson Silva.
Pants throws a jab but it's blocked by Silva.
Silva wants to clinch but Pants slips to the side
and Pants counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.

Pants swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

and Pants counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Silva thinking.
Pants throws a monster overhand right that drops Silva! Pants follows up with more strikes from mount and the fight is all over!

After winning the bout, Square Pants thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
