Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Gavin Cole (ranked 2719 p4p, 296 weight class) and Drapton Heed (ranked 3014 p4p, 329 weight class). Drapton Heed is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Gavin Cole!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Drapton Heed!
The judges for this bout are James Glass, Colin Fotheringham and Daniel Bishop.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cole uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Heed.
Heed scores with a decent looking hook.
Cole lands a nice looking body shot.
Cole keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Heed.
Heed looks to land a right hand but Cole moved out of range.
A swing and a miss from Cole.
Heed misses with a hook
and Heed takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Cole scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Heed doesn't seem bothered though.
Cole looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Cole cracks Heed with an open hand slap.
Heed throws an off balance right hand
and Cole counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Cole on the wrong end of a nice jab.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Cole misses with a two punch combination.

Heed cracks Cole with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Heed has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Cole to stand back up!

Cole is rocked!
Cole is wiping some vaseline out of his eye. Heed doesn't give a rats ass about fair play and cracks him with a massive hook to the side of the head! Cole crumples to the floor out cold! The cornerman is going to be in Cole's bad books for that mishap!
