Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Nairy Huts (ranked 5197 p4p, 0 weight class) and Minitauro Shogun (ranked 5307 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Nairy Huts!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Minitauro Shogun!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Andrew Berry and Daniel Bishop.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Shogun closes the distance and clinches.
Huts changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Shogun fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Huts shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

and Shogun counters with a nice double leg into side control. Huts won't be happy with that.
Shogun controls the position.
Huts can't do much from the bottom here.
Huts stops Shogun from passing to mount.
Huts wants to control but Shogun postures up.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Shogun tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Let's hope that Shogun has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Huts is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Shogun gets his way!

Shogun fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Huts sprawls well initially but Shogun persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Shogun seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Huts is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Shogun's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Shogun's back!

Huts is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Shogun sees it coming and defends easily.

Shogun is staying active underneath Huts, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Huts is looking to take a break and control but Shogun is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Shogun is pressing down on Huts's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.

Huts would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Shogun throws a series of punches but Huts avoids them all with ease.
Huts attempts a counter takedown but Shogun avoids it well and moves away.
Huts blocks a head kick by Shogun.

Shogun pushes Huts up against the cage in a clinch.

Shogun jumps guard and drags Huts to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Shogun has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Huts wants to control from the top but Shogun keeps moving.
Huts missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Huts loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Minitauro Shogun showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's time! Huts's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!
