The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Novez has his takedown stuffed

so Morozov counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Morozov stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Novez swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Morozov is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Novez is trying to escape and Morozov transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Novez is forced to tap! Nice work there by Morozov! Very nice indeed!
