Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Pate Parret (ranked 322 p4p, 47 weight class) and Ricardo Cruz (ranked 1036 p4p, 140 weight class). Pate Parret has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Cruz working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though.

Parret's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

That was a close round but I would say that Pate Parret will probably get the nod.
