Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Rob Fist (ranked 2961 p4p, 337 weight class) and George Kane (ranked 4829 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Rob Fist!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, George Kane!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Frank Dennis and Cecil Peabody.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fist misses with a hook.
Kane throws a big counter head kick but Fist avoids it with no problem.
Fist misses the shot to the body.
Fist scores with a nice strike.
Rob Fist seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kane blocks a jab.
Fist works the jab nicely.
Fist bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Kane's head backwards.
Fist throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Fist backing away here, and Kane unleashes a leg kick that just misses.
Fist throws out a powerful jab.
Kane needs to keep his hands up - Fist had a free shot at his head there.
Fist scores with a sloppy right hand. Kane should have avoided that one.
A punch lands to the side of Kane 's head but he takes it in his stride.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Kane avoids a lazy jab quite easily.

Fist punishes Kane's body with a nice straight punch.
Fist misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Kane counters with a nice body kick.
Fist lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Kane backs up against the cage.
Fist lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Fist lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Fist misses with an uppercut. Kane saw that one coming.
Fist is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.
Kane closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Fist is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Kane takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

Fist jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Kane defending well as Fist loads up on a big left hand.
Kane looks like he wanted to counter with a high kick but didn't throw it.
Fist smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Fist lands with an uppercut that bounces Kane off the cage and back into range.
Fist throws a poor cross that misses
and Kane counters with an outside leg kick.
Fist lands a really nice looking cross but Kane seems unphased.
Fist lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Fist misses with a body shot.
Fist thows a left - swing and a miss!
Kane was about to counter that last move with a leg kick but changes his mind.

A kick lands to the mid section there for Kane.
Fist jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Kane let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land.
Fist connects with a looping right hand.
Fist bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Kane's head backwards.
Fist throws a jab when Kane was well out of range.
An inside leg kick lands from Kane.
Fist misses with a series of wild punches.
Fist throws out a loose jab but Kane uses good head movement to avoid it.
Kane has a pretty nasty looking mouse under his right eye.
Fist connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Kane momentarily.
Fist loads up on a big right hand but Kane slips the punch.
Kane keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Fist.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Kane moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Fist throws a predictable looking body shot
and Kane counters with a nice body kick.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Kane avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Fist connects with a single shot there.
Fist misses with an uppercut. Kane saw that one coming.
Fist fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Kane slips a jab from Fist.
Nice uppercut lands for Fist. That snapped Kane's head back.
Fist tries to bum rush Kane with a series of wild strikes but Kane uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Kane tries a quick counter leg kick but Fist is wise to it.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Fist works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Fist is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.
A jab lands there for Fist.
Fist loads up on a big right hand but Kane slips the punch.
Kane was about to counter that last move with a leg kick but changes his mind.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Rob Fist dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Fist changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Donk. Fist catches Kane right on the button with a cross.
Kane throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Kane throws a nice outside leg kick.
Fist throws a right hand that misses
and Kane counters with an outside leg kick.
Kane bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
A shot to the body from Fist misses
and Kane counters with a big head kick but Fist shrugs it off.
Both these guys seem content to just stand up and trade with eachother but Kane might want to think about changing up his gameplan a bit because over the course of the fight, Fist has got the better of the exchanges.
Fist misses with a left hand
and Kane counters with a slapping leg kick.
Kane looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Fist is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.
Fist uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Kane fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Fist has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Kane throws a big counter head kick but Fist avoids it with no problem.
Fist connects with a body shot.
Fist dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Kane drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Fist throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Kane follows through with a counter body kick but it doesn't land.
Fist uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Kane.
Fist is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.
Fist throws an off balance right hand
and Kane counters with a big head kick but Fist shrugs it off.
Kane is breathing heavily.
Fist cracks Kane with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Fist throws a shot from downtown. Kane moves away and avoids it.
Kane shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Fist cracks a nice hook into Kane's ribs.
Kane on the wrong end of a nice hook.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Kane's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Fist connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Kane scrambles back to his feet.
A big right from Fist misses.
Fist takes a swing at Kane's ribcage but misses.
Fist scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Fist bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
The fighters circle momentarily. Fist darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.


Kane is rocked!
Decent striking displayed by Fist there.
Kane is still on wobbly legs! Can Fist finish him?
Fist lands a brutal uppercut that launches Kane off his feet! Kane tumbles to the floor, barely conscious - the referee jumps in to save him from a beating! Wow, what an ending!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:43 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Rob Fist!
In his post fight interview, Rob Fist started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
