Coming up we have a heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Trevor Jones (ranked 2098 p4p, 222 weight class) and Solomon Bundy (ranked 3902 p4p, 343 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bundy misses with a hook.
Jones slips a straight right by Bundy.
We've been told by Jones's head coaches at Oceanside Fight Club that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Jones tries to clinch up.
Jones looks to land a combination but Bundy avoids it well.
Jones scores with a jab to the head.
A kick lands to the mid section there for Bundy.
Bundy will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Bundy throws a lazy right hand but Jones sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Jones doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Bundy throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Bundy bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Jones's head.

It looks like Trevor Jones has been cut.
Bundy ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Jones moves away.
Jones lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Jones tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Bundy counters with a stiff right hand.

A left and a right from Jones both land. Nice combination.
Jones tries to clinch but Bundy moves out of range.
Bundy lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Jones tries to grapple but his opponent circles
enabling Bundy to counter with a crisp jab.
Jones throws a looping overhand right but Bundy ducks down to avoid it.
Bundy stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

Trevor Jones's cut is getting worse.
Bundy scores with a hook to the body. Jones takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Jones lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Trevor Jones seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That kick from Bundy tenderised Jones's leg. Jones is trying to keep his angry face on.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Jones lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Bundy circles away quickly and effectively.
Bundy throws the left hand but Jones avoids the punch easily.
Jones throws a poor cross that misses
and Bundy counters with a thumping low kick.

Jones misses with a looping left.
Bundy looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Bundy throws a hook but Jones blocks it.
Bundy shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Jones eats them both and turns towards Bundy to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

Bundy lands a right hook to the body.
Jones is breathing heavily.
Jones tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Bundy counters with a stiff right hand.

Trevor Jones's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.

Bundy throws a looping overhand right but Jones ducks down to avoid it.
Some wild striking there from Jones.
Jones misses with an uppercut
and Bundy counters with a nice uppercut.
An inside leg kick lands from Bundy.

Bundy closes the distance and scores with a big combo that sends Jones crashing to the mat! Jones uses the ropes to get back to his feet and beat the count. The referee looks concerned but he's going to allow it to continue!

Jones is rocked!

Jeez, Trevor Jones's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Trevor Jones's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
