Coming up we have a light heavyweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Brandon Walker (ranked 18905 p4p, 635 weight class) and Ganesha Om (ranked 4471 p4p, 491 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

In the red corner, competing out of Las Vegas, with a TWGC record of 0 wins and 3 losses; Brandon Walker! And in the blue corner, fighting out of Los Angeles, with a TWGC record of 2 wins and 3 losses; Ganesha Om!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Don Winkell and Jack Bonds.


Let's get this grappling contest under way! Who will be victorious?
Om shoots in looking for a takedown but Walker manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Om's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Walker clinches with his opponent.

Om manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.

Walker tries to free his leg and advance position but Om is retaining full guard.
Om looking to hit a scissor sweep but Walker is one step ahead there.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Om is working for a kimura but Walker is defending it quite comfortably.

Walker has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Om is working away from the top position though.
Om stalling away here and it's allowed Walker to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard.

We've been hearing good reports from Walker's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

Walker escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Om gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Om must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Om is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Walker is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Om goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Walker has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Om but great work by Walker.

Walker looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.
Om wants to hold on but Walker pushes him away.

Walker is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Om has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Om!

Om looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Om is trying to control. Walker wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

Om has control of Walker's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Walker regains control of the situation pretty easily.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

Walker sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.

Walker is looking to improve his position but Om isn't that keen on the idea.

Walker got a little sloppy there for a moment and Om has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Walker has managed to get both his arms back between Om's legs - danger averted.

Walker drops back, looking for a kneebar! Om looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Om looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Om!
