Coming up we have a bantamweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Xing Pugberg (ranked 2007 p4p, 112 weight class) and Dominick Bruise (ranked 3007 p4p, 163 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.
This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the bantamweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of Los Angeles, with a TWGC record of 1 wins and 0 losses; Xing Pugberg! And in the blue corner, fighting out of Las Vegas, with a TWGC record of 2 wins and 2 losses; Dominick Bruise!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Jack Bonds and Frank Antenori.
The fighters connect hands in the middle of the mat and we are under way.
Pugberg has taken the fight to the clinch.
Bruise has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Pugberg after a bit of a struggle.
Pugberg tries to score a body lock takedown but Bruise shows good agility there to stay on his feet.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Bruise working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though.
