The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Shigeki Fujiwara and Hirohito Nitta.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bodzioch tries to close the distance and clinch up but Szymczak swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Szymczak throws a series of punches but Bodzioch avoids them all with ease.
A head kick misses from Bodzioch.

Bodzioch dodges the punch combination from Szymczak.
Szymczak tries a head kick but it misses.
Bodzioch lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Szymczak misses with a jab, cross combination.
Despite the aggression on Bodzioch's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
No joy there for Bodzioch, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
As Bodzioch looks to move away, Szymczak throws a big counter combo but Bodzioch just gets out of the way.
Szymczak swats away the attempt to clinch by Bodzioch.
Szymczak fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Bodzioch tries to pull guard but Szymczak won't allow it.
Szymczak escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Szymczak lands a left and a right that sends Bodzioch crashing to the canvas! Szymczak dives into mount looking to finish!
Bodzioch is rocked!
It looks like Mateusz Bodzioch has been cut.
Szymczak sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
Bodzioch is still in real trouble! Can Szymczak finish him?
Bodzioch tries to reverse the position but Szymczak maintains control.
Bodzioch is trying to get to the cage to help him get back to his feet.
Szymczak stands up from the dominant position, so we're back on the feet.
Szymczak looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

Bodzioch fails in his attempt to clinch.
Szymczak misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Bodzioch tries a head kick but it misses.
Szymczak plants his feet and throws a 3 punch combo. Miss, miss, boom! The third punch, a big right hook, connects right on the temple and drops Bodzioch to the mat, unconscious! This fight is all over! Bodzioch just couldn't keep out of the way of the whole flurry of punches!
