Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sheamus Meallan (ranked 3005 p4p, 63 weight class) and Diyorbek Nurudinov (ranked 5994 p4p, 188 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 4 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Sheamus Meallan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Diyorbek Nurudinov!
The judges for this bout are John Roberts, Reed Andrews and Chad Campbell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Meallan swinging wildly here.
Meallan throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Meallan has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Gym in the buildup to the fight.

Nurudinov darts in looking for a takedown but Meallan gets double underhooks and turns Nurudinov into the cage.
Meallan appears to be looking for a big counter.

A nice combination there by Meallan.
Nurudinov looks to score with a jab to the body but Meallan is just out of range.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Meallan enables Nurudinov to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Meallan manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Nurudinov fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Meallan avoids it really well and circles away.

Nurudinov tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Meallan manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Nurudinov tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Meallan throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Nurudinov's head.
Meallan keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Sheamus Meallan has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Diyorbek Nurudinov.
Nurudinov dives in for a single leg takedown but Meallan sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Sheamus Meallan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

It looks like Diyorbek Nurudinov has been cut.

Meallan lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Nice defenses there by Nurudinov.

Nurudinov shoots for a takedown but Meallan saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

And Nurudinov tries to counter it with a takedown but Meallan pushes his down on his head and steps out.

and Meallan counters with a massive uppercut that badly hurts Nurudinov! He's just covering up as Meallan starts to tee off till the referee steps in and stops the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:25 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Sheamus Meallan!
A relieved looking Sheamus Meallan thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
